    Venom BSF Bavaria.

If I get one of those, then it's "cold dead hands" territory. Even if it's not very good compared to my other springers. Because I have wanted one since 1981 or whenever they (briefly) were made.

Me too, not the most functional air rifle but i just admire the craftsmanship, IMHO it's the Rolex of the air rifle world.

I used to have a Venom Longbow that i would love to have back and the mint, exhibition spec SLR 98 that i sold to a chap in Hawaii.

Nick, this is the way I clamped a scope on the Eagle as mentioned in PM... will not be as secure as your Weaver rail though.

I think its a rail, but its hard to tell from the pic. Also don't know if it wants/needs a scope? I'll see what can be done to extend its range when I see it.

I have three more rifles I definitely want in my collection, a mint mk1 or mk2 rapid, Steyr hunting scout 5 (Auto)......But as a couple of people have already suggested the one at the top of the list is an ISP Spartan with the works (engraved scroll work, colour case hardening, high grade walnut etc. )

Having spoken to Shaun I think the latter will be in the region of 3k, so I have some saving to do!

    I'd love an SLR; doesn't matter which one, 88, 98 or L1A1.
