here is my restored beeman c1, got it in pretty bad condition, cleaned everything , decided to paint as pitting was quiet bad, fires ok pretty accurate, and puts out 10.9fp.

about 10 coats of birchwood casey oil, and lots of elbow grease, I took my time sanding it down ending up using 320 grit paper, then 2 coats of oil then 00000 grade wire wool, then a tack rag to clean it of, repeat as many times as you like , until you get the required look

My mate did try this stuff once - he could NOT get on with it , so I tried something different - cannot remember , one of the oils used for garden
furniture (?) .
Was happy with the result , but the result you got beats it by x10 .

To get 10.9 ft.lb. out of most spring rifles you need a large amount of leverage from the barrel which needs to be around a minimum of 12 to 13 inches. I just cannot see how you can do it on this rifle. Tell me how ?

you have to knock the barrel to break it, but cocks fairly easy, has top hat kit and new spring,

I had a go with Rhys Lightnings 22 Evo with the short barrel at a springer bash last year (or before that) - you needed the steroid fueled dynamic grip of Dolf Lundgrens W***ing hand to be able to cock the bugger!!!

How does it shoot? I have one with an unmolested 14" barrel, and between the stock design, lack of forward weight, punchy power plant and heavy trigger, it's one of the hardest airguns I have used to shoot well.

Someone has bitten off half the barrel. That's a Beeman C 0.72 ultracarbine. Must be a sod to cock/fire, some people should be banned from owning a hacksaw...

Like a crappy Vulcan with a crappy stock. Never mind the awful trigger and barrel pivot. Nice blueing on Wobbleys, that is all...
