    1991 or 1992 Sirocco HE.

I like the build quality. The stock shape/fit is indifferent (though not bad by early 90s/late 80s standards). The trigger is average and creepy. The cocking effort is a bit high. The shot cycle is fast and snappy and not very pleasant.

But the thing is really good at hitting stuff.

    until recently I had:

    taunus in 22
    olympus in 22
    fenman in 22

    and fenman in 20

taunus/olympus/fenman are essentially the same gun just different stock and barrel length

Had many over the years, now down to two: SLR88 and a Fenman.
Theobens are a worthy manufacturer to collect. Beautiful Rifles.

I have a Countryman carbine That I fitted a spring in to make it work

I had Two Classics for a long time 177 and 22 ( pre HE ) and a brand new thumbhole evo for two weeks cos I hated everything about it

    Between you and guy... 😉
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Got a Fenman HE in late ambi stock.
Owned a Sirocco which was pre HE and was smoother to fire...

I've got an Eliminator in .25, and Fenmans in .20 and .177. All great fun to shoot and look at.

    Theobens

Got an Evolution in .177. It shoots OK but the stock is superb.
