Walnut stock is too light in colour ?

Any good cheap ways to darken a light coloured walnut stock . cheers HOLLY

Depends on what the stock is finished with. If its just a plain oil finish then repeated application of any English Formula walnut stock oil will darken the finish. If the finish is oil with a lacquer on top then this has to be chemically removed first.

Whatever you do, you will have to strip the old finish. Alkanet oil will add more depth to the colour and darken a bit, whilst still looking natural.
