These cast framed push in barrel pistols are believed to date from the 1950s but it is unclear who originally sold them as presently, no contemporary advertising is known.

John Atkins has previously determined that J.V. Murcott & Sons (JVM) Castings of Tamworth made the castings and although the company still exists, they were unable to help with the identity of the original company who commissioned the castings. If the left grip is removed, JVM within an oval can be seen stamped inside, which confirms the above provenance.

The .177 smoothbore pistol cocks and fires, although I have done little more than test the action a couple of times due to the age of the casting.

This is certainly one of the rarer push in barrel models - £50 f2f or can be posted at cost.
