Removing ink writing from Morini grip

Any ideas on best way to remove ink pen marks on grip as previous owner had marked sight rotation directions on the stock.

If it's Biro try White Spirit. This will also lift the oil (if it is an oiled finish) so you will also need to re-oil that area.

Try using a soft eraser, such as the Pelikan brand.

There's a thing called brownells whitening paste.. it's basically chalk dust mixed with acetone. You paint it on, the acetone gets in about the wood and the chalk acts as a carrier to soak up anything that comes away.. you let it dry and brush it off... as before you'll probably have to refinish or Re oil any section you apply it to
