    Hw80 mk1

Production run was from 1981 till mid 85 when the mk2 came out with the rounded off fore end. Still some about but most been messed with and stocks broke. A few knocking around on freeads but not mint!! Please note that HW produced the MK1 Stock in walnut. Had two thanks to venom arms back in the day but sold them...bugger...Mach 1.5

I now understand the craving, although wasn't fussed about another, having last owned a .177" 80 in 1982-4.

I was, however, fortunate to happen across a mint .22" from 1981 at last Nov's 'Boinger Bash' and felt compelled to dive in.

Jolly glad I did, she's lovely.

    Good luck in your quest.

Thanks guys , will continue to look . Got a very nice 35E of my dad a few years ago . Lovely piece of wood on that he purchased that one in 1980 and a few years later I fitted a airmasters 88 brass trigger to it

It might be worth eating in touch with Paul Chell via Facebook unless he's on here. He has a group called Shooters Restorations and has the odd mk.1 up for re-homeing.
    Regards,
    Dave.

Manchester Air Guns imported 100 Beeman R1 air-rifles, the US version of the HW80 about the same time as the Mk 1 was released. It has a very nice standard stock. I have only seen one for sale secondhand, but there must be a few kicking around. The slabby Mk 1 was not as nice to hold, with its FWB Sport influences.

I will have one for sale in a few months sorry to say that is because it's away at vmach being put back together. Has been reblued not by Vmach but a very nice job all the same. 177 cal and an old venom action. If you have no luck? I'll give you a PM when it's returned. Mach 1.5
