Arthur
I wish I was in the land of cotton.
I have a century in .177 Its been sleeved and has a weihrauch piston seal along with a rowan trigger, oh and a shauny silencer, power is 11 .1 and shoots really good.
Atb mark .
The Century is a decent rifle & relatively cheap ,you can tell the difference between this & the 25mm LGV when side by side. Both are accurate its just easier with the LGV.
Plus now the LGV has a stock like the LGU it is better in that respect too.
WANTED: Next weeks winning lottery numbers :-)
Possibly not.
IMVHO, the trigger is the limiting factor and not anything else.
And since the LGV uses the same trigger, I'm not seeing the advantage.
As an aside, I have a Walther "Tuning Trigger" fitted to my Century, it's marginally better than the standard trigger but still not as good as the HW Rekord.
The LGV used to have the "Tuning Trigger" as standard but now it apparently has the same, single adjustment screw, trigger as the Century.
And I'm not sure that the 25mm piston on it's own is enough of an advantage.
As I've said before the LGV 25mm version is superb to shoot especially when the trigger is set right, no its not a Rekord but its not bad & you get use to the long first stage travel after a while.
The Century is good with its rear bearing on its 30 mm piston so its smooth enough but you notice the heavier piston & stiffer spring when compared with 25mm rotating piston of the LGV.
