Scopes are aluminium, easy to polish but it will then oxidise in a heartbeat and look like scrap.
You could polish and spray with clear lacquer but that always looks crap
Buy one already anodised stainless or have it Cerakoted that colour
All other routes will simply end up with you scrapping the scope
