    It can be as much or as little as you want to do .
    Generally though removing any rough edges with vey fine wet and dry , wire wool , and then maybe a polish up with autosol .
    Pay attention to the ends of the springs making sure that they are finished properly and nice and smooth , polish up the top hat or fit a delrin one .
    Generally give everything a good smooth finish.

    It's not as daunting as you might imagine.

    I used to think that I would never take my rifles apart and polish up the internals, but once you have done it, you realise that there's nothing to be afraid of.

    There's plenty of information and guidance on the Internet. Depending on the make and model of your rifle, you can probably watch some videos on YouTube.
