    PS

I also really like some of the ideas above like the mini-77, AA break-barrel, and reintroduced TX Mk1. But I'm not sure that they meet the definition of changing just one thing. I'd also like to see a Diana 52 scaled down to dimensions necessary for 12ft/lbs - a sort of sliding-breech Webley Tracker (in a proper stock, though).

All open-sight rifles to be fitted with robust aperture sights. If BSA could do it within budget with the BSA Meteor Cadet, then any maker can.

By better, I mean the kind of thing you get on an AA (but with normal chequering) or that you find on Webley Longbows and Tomahawks.

I'd also like Weihrauch to change the safety catch on the Rekord trigger to something resettable, ideally located in the back of the end block, not on the side. And for Dianas to have a better scope rail that readily accepts an integral arrestor in the mount.
The latest Dianas have a proper arrestor hole in the ramp, Geezer.

I agree on the stocks. Perhaps two patterns should be offered on some models, one with a high comb for scope use. And a bit of deluxe woyld be nuce.

That's good news. I hadn't noticed. I think the last time I bought a brand new air rifle was about 1994.

I do find the state of stocks on springers disappointing. Venom, CS, and AA all worked out in the 1980s what was a proper stock for scoped use, but most makers continue with what are basically 1930s to 1970s designs, even on guns that have no iron sights.

When filling my FAC air slot I would have loved a hw 100 (despite it probably having a low shot count) but everything I read said they were poor and accuracy suffered. So a HW100 FAC that’s as accurate as it’s 12ft/lb brethren that could do 30 shots at 30ft/lb.

Is that more than one thing? I’d also settle for decent stocks on hw springers.

.20 & .25 to be commonly available same as .177 & .22, not special order only.

I made the point to Peter Martinaux (? spelling) then of BSA, when I happened to meet him, if they're on the shelf they'll sell, & 12 months later .25 were appearing more & selling.

Make the TX200 multi-shot like the Webley something or other 10 I saw on an old youtube video a while back.
