Recommendations for a 4x32 or similar scope please

As above, I would be interested in member's recommendations for a solid, well made 4x32 (or similar) scope with decent glass. Not worried about ret, as long as it's airgun friendly. Generally after something solid and simple.

What are the Hawke Vantage 4x32's like, AO or otherwise?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tim

    Two come to mind:

Sabre 4x32 from JS Ramsbottom. Very solid. Decent glass. Ludicrously cheap.

and for about twice the price...

Hawke Vantage 4x32AO. I have one of these on my .22 95 and its brilliant. I genuinely think its the best scope within the Vantage range (have also used 4-12x40 and 3-9x50). Very bright image and the ret is nice and fine too.

This is a nice solid scope for airgun use.

    Scope

I looked through the smallest Hawke Airmax scope recently and very impressed by the razor sharp clarity on it- but its variable 2-7x32.

Thanks for the suggestions so far - much appreciated.

Budget is flexible go a degree. I was thinking up to £60-70, but happy to wait and go higher for the right scope.

Had a quick search for the Nikon, that no longer seems available. Discontinued?
