Recommendations for a 4x32 or similar scope please

I bought the Hawke 4x32 AO just to see what it was like.

(IIRC, I paid about £50 for it new)

For me, I have found it to be surprisingly good, with sharp, clear optics, and a decently fine reticule (mil-dot), and so far, it has tracked and kept zero perfectly.

I've got a Hawke Vantage 2-7x32 AO Milldot on a rimfire and I can't fault it. Works well when lamping and whilst not as clear as the glass in my Nikon it's not far behind and certainly better than the Chinese scope that I replaced with it. It's had plenty of use/abuse and the zero hasn't shifted and the finish still looks good on it too.
