    Air soft pistol

I got an airsoft pistol off a Danish friend that fires 6mm plastic BB's and it needs to be filled with a separate canister of gas, like a gas lighter would. Is this "green gas"?

Green gas is propane and silicone oil and as a rule of thumb is fine for pistols with metal slides.
It might be too powerful for cheaper guns with plastic slides.
It would be best to check what the recommended propellant actually is...

It's a metal gun but fires plastic BB's. It looks about 20 years old. The instructions are very vague and badly translated from Chinese. I can't see anything about what gas it needs. It just has a plain white can with a white lid, in the box.

Just search airsoft gas and most sites give advice on which one to use.
    Cost around £12 a can

Is been a while but I always had a can of red gas and a can of green is very temperature dependant so once can make too powerful.
