    Target 22rf Sako or Anschtz

Looking at doing some 100mtr 22 rf target Shooting, looking at a Sako Quad, or Anshutz 1907, at present using an Anshutz 1417 with some good results but just looking for that heavier Barrell, any one used these and any opinions welcome.

Nsra Prone with a sling, or from a rest/bipod with a 'scope? Prone with a sling the Anschutz 1907 wins hands down, as the Sako's stock isn't intended for this, and it lacks aperture sights. On the whole I'd say the Anschutz will have a better barrel, being single shot the chamber is a true match spec, with no compromise for magazine loading. The trigger is superb. However I've seen Sakos shoot very well, and the magazine feed may be an advantage for some.

Unless you need magazine feed, or the Sako is stupidly cheap, I'd go for the Anschutz.

Decision made, Anshutz 1907 Item No 000123, cost a bit but think it will be worth it.
