First model Britania in .177. Preferably mint condition.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

But as I now own one, I guess unless you class my beautiful Brum-built walnut stocked SFS tuned .177 Webley Longbow (which I sold when skint to Blackrider as above, who loves it as much as I did/do, ergo will not part with it), guess I am fortunate enough not to have an unobtainable air gun on my wish list (at the moment anyway, but being a collector, how long will that last ??? ) ...
Well at least you know where the Longbow is Gareth, I've no idea where my long gone Fenman is.
You can be sure that IF I ever do decide to part with the Longbow, you'll be the first to know !

Err, hang on, I've already got one of each of them in my modest collection, so guess, notwithstanding getting MY old Sterling HR81 in a walnut overcoat back where he belongs, seems I have most of my wish-list, already (but we all know, as collectors, that 'that' particular scenario won't last lol ) ...

If you are into early Lincoln Jefferies stuff, here's a link to mine. I think you may like it.

Would just like a BSA standard in 22 with a peep sight, to match my 1923 BSA CS, with peep!
    Thanks - Geoff.

Over the years, I've seen these at gun shows on sale for far less than original ticket price (Blue Book guesstimates them at $750 in 100% condition.) The problem being that they don't get any interest from shooters, which is pretty ironic for an "Olympic" rifle. Without any shooter's interest, the only value is it's collectability and it only draws sparse interest from that group.

It is in fact not a true production model since Crosman never produced them in the factory. Every gun was hand built by the prototype shop and there they didn't even have a supply of parts, they only ordered parts when an order came in. So, these are really custom handmade rifles.

The fact that no spare parts are available, getting repairs would be difficult, but, since nobody shoots these, guess it really would be a barrier.

    It's still an interesting gun.

Depends what's a classic rifle but a modern classic would be a dalesman genesis.

Mine is a Webley Service air rifle in the correct factory supplied fitted case.

There are lots of conversions out there but I have only ever seen one genuine case during my collecting career.

    Venom BSF Bavaria.
    WBPS Marauder.
    Streatham Armoury Avenger.
    Airmasters FWB Sport.
    Early Venom 80.
Webley Venom Sidewinder, and Sidewinder Compact.
    Theoben SLR88UC.

Funny how on threads like this, I always end up mostly naming fancy-grade break-barrels. It shows what my archetype is for a desirable air rifle: what I wanted when I was 14 in 1982.

    Always quite fancied a Park.

For some reason, never got the Whiscombe thing. I know they must be great, but I don't have an emotional connection to them.
