Thanks guys, some good replies, seems there are quite a few of us with 'Holy Grail' rifles!

My latest and possibly ( most likely) my last 'Holy Grail' rifle (never say never or last ) may have to evade me for a while yet as due to me using all my Pension pot and a bit more besides to buy my Daughter a house for her Daughter and her to live in (she has just lost her long term rental) I am back to having no 'disposable income' or cash, possibly for a couple of years or more!
(But at least my Daughter and Grand daughter will have secure home accommodation until she is in a position to get a mortgage and 'buy me out'! )

Good luck with your 'Holy grail' rifles lads!

After purchasing and resqueing from the dead a Diana 58 3th series (1925) and owning a first modell (1915) allready () ,my holy grail would be the Diana 58 2th series (1920) .

My own choice would have to be a Mastersport FWB 124.

    Hi,

Obviously the welfare of our families takes priority over chasing old air guns no matter how desirable, but hopefully normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

    Regards

I managed to pick one of these up at our recent Airgun Fair (Sat 14th Oct) and havent had chance to zero it in yet but Im pleased with the firing cycle (after a bit of a re-lube ).

I have a freind who when chasing something, he really sets his stall out to get it and almost never fails !
His pursuit is vintage fishing tackle and he recently sought, found and shelled out £3.4k for a landing net made and owned by a famous carp angler !

I have no desire to go to those lengths for a "Whizzer" but if I did and had the Dosh, I'd take a few tips from him !
Actually managed to shoot a Whiscombe yesterday at the Springer Bash courtesy of Dave the Frame !
    Simply Awesome !

Thanks Dave, great air rifle !

My most desired were Theobens with the original slim silencers. I've managed to get some real beauties this year and I'm more than satisfied with my lot. I would like a Theoben Olympus if any of you can help!

    Cheers
