Quick question.. Webley Tempest stirrup catch removal...

Hi all. Is the Webley Tempest pin tapered or straight? If tapered, which side should it be knocked out from?

On my hurricane it's straight.
Just give it a tap on the flatter end of the pin and it should start to move

Thanks. I've got it out now. I'm sure I've done one before or a Hurricane but forgot. The pins are split a little along their length to widen them so they don't fall out/
