    Welcome back.
The other Forum was a brave venture.

Avatars and pictures are fun but a Forum is for discussion and exchange of views.
The rest can be managed elsewhere.

    Idea

First of all, I hope this doesn't break any rules, if it does, just delete the thread, I won't be offended

I thought it may be nice for members to make a contribution, no upper or lower limt, to a fund the Admins and Mods could perhaps have a few beers to commerate all the hard work they put into this

Any exces could then be distributed to charities, H4H, Marie Curie or whoever they see fit to give to

I guess we'd need BT details as I don't have Paypal and you could identify your contribution with your ID as payment reference

    What do people think ?

Crikey ... instant response; hardly time to stir the coffee.
Seriously though ... my thanks for all the effort you all put in to the attempt to improve the forum. It is a great pity it did not work out as expected but then again, many thanks for recognising the shortcomings and taking the decision to revert to the 'old style'.
    Cheers, Phil

As Phil says above. Nice to have the old system back. Thanks, Neil

    Happy again!!
Thankyou for reverting back to this version of the BBS-much better!
I did use it a lot less when it was the newer version because I didn’t like it at all,but like I said I’m much happier now this version is back and hopefully to stay.😃😃

Yep, agree with all, but above all, "welcome back VB4".

GOOD and THANK YOU. Yes I am shouting because its great and a bit scary too. Clicked on the short cut and waited, thought, is it going to work - what is going to happen - will it work. Wham super - fast like lightening.
    Thanks again.
    All the best.
    Cheers.

Great to be back; well done all for their hard work, BUT, I have to ask " Why did we change in the first place ?"
Was I the only one to notice that posts seemed to be down in numbers under the new system?
Once again, thanks to all concerned.
