What regulator for a BSA Scorpion

My Scopion SE .177 is pissing air so thought if I'm paying to get the seals redone I might as well add a regulator.

First of all, is it worth doing?

Then if it is there seem several available. Any recommendations as to which one to get?

Personally speaking? As a Scorpion owner, I think not (see my thoughts on the thread hereabouts entitled Dry enough air for pumping a PCP for my expanded take on this). Hope this is of some help?

Yes it is worth doing. If you like the rifle and your comfortable with it, make it better. I have a Tench reg in my Scorpion and S510, I cant fault them. Check Ratworks out.
Someone said house work wont kill you, but I say 'why take that chance'

Altaros is another option. My Ultra has been spot on since fitted, very consistent.

Huma regulator is very easy to change and they work very well (have two of them). I tuned my SE for about 60 shots within 10 fps so I haven't bothered with a regulator but if I did I'd be looking at 90+ shots I believe. Here's some info from XTX website https://www.xtxair.com/pages/huma-regulators
