Hi Tony. Yes, really enjoyed the visit, great bunch of lads and not a bad cup of tea also!!. Saw the stainless 35 and tried it and for a std HW shoots nice!! which makes a nice change. Mach 1.5

Sounds very interesting. I have seen a Venom 45 oictured in old Venom litersture alongside a Venom FWB Sport and one or two other Venom conversions.
Any idea what internal modifications were carried out?

Tune would be a polish, steel spring guide, top hat, swedish spring...etc. Yep would be seen on the post card advert along with the FWB, HW80, BSA etc. A very early venom. Mach 1.5

Just had a look on their website and there it was! Looks immaculate and even has intact open sights. Stock looks very nice. Bargain price too IMHO. Paid for it with P Pal. I gave them a message to send it to my local RFD. Don't quite know how this works. What's the crack?

Well done. I was waiting with baited breath for it to come up on their site and eventually caught a glimpse if it. Unfortunately I think went to make a cup of tea at the wrong time and it was gone.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I think you will. Yes, seemed like an absolute bargain.

I've had a look on google for images of the original 45 venom, because the stock looked very different. More rounded at the front and what looked like stippling right up at end of the fore end. Nothing like it though. To be honest, I didn't have a real close inspection of the picture as I thought I'd better get in quick and buy it! When I went back on the site to have a closer look, it had been taken off! I do hope it's not the venom tyrolean stock; that would really upset me
Done a bit more prowling and came up with an old thread on here from 2016 with a picture of the stock on the 45.

I know this pic is one for an hw80, but mine has the same stippling and colouring.
