    cometa 300s

just about to reassemble, just one thing do you lubricate the piston all over the outer surface sparingly or just the trigger end, spring and spring guide?

I'm not too sure of the overall shape of the Cometa piston, but a very light burnish with grease on the body where contact is likely in the cylinder (some pistons have bulges at the back where contact is preferred, which allows it to align to the piston seal). Never grease in front of the piston seal edge.

    Slight thread hijack.
Yes the piston needs a light coat on the outside surface...well that’s what I did anyway.

Not sure if it’s of interest to you but I have a 300s camo stock here that I changed as it has slight marking underneath where someone had been resting it.
If it’s of use to your build you can literally have it for free.

    Regards,
    Rhys
