    There is a 24D on one of the more popular gunsales sites just now. Clearly not new as stated.

    I've always thought of the 27 and the D models as the thinking man's BSA Meteor.

    But they were always at best no cheaper than a Meteor (which was British, and widely distributed, you could buy one in almost any sports or fishing shop) and usually more expensive. Some prices from a 1984 advert: Meteor £42, Super Meteor £46, Diana 27 £55. And, until Milbro went bust in around 1981, they were also undercut by the inferior Scottish Dianas.

    Yes, as alluded to up above, I have a 24D with the T01 trigger.

    Lovely. Very nice, soft cycle and nice trigger.

    Very true. Much as I love my Mk1 Vulcan it didnt have the build quality and robustness of HW or Diana. It did match it for finish though.
