    FWB 124 barrel shim.

When I bought my Sport I noticed on some diagrams, where the pivot bolt goes through the barrel there is a second washer on the opposite side to the dished washer yet on others it isn't shown. I decided to source one as mine didn't have one fitted. After fitting it I'm not sure whether it should be there as it is a tight fit. Can anyone confirm if this shim should be in place or not please?
    Many thanks,
    Gary.

Have you tried adjusting the pivot bolt?

I set my break barrels without the spring as so the barrel falls under its own weight.

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

It falls with the lightest of touches so all is well. It's just that it's such a tight squeeze when fitting. I don't remember it being so tight on my last one (but that was 27 years ago so my memory may be playing tricks).
    Thanks for your help fellas.
