    A Clamp question

    Eyup
I have two dive bottles. Both are DIN fittings. I have a complete A clamp set up with Gauge and whip spare. Is there a way of converting or adapting it to fit DIN? Or shall I just swap it for a DIN setup on here?

The Beaver Cylinder Valve DIN insert fist most Cylinder Valves & Manifolds with G5/8” 232 Bar DIN EN-144-3 type outlets. It simply converts any 232 Bar DIN fitting for use with an INT-A-Clamp type Regulator 1st Stage.

Insert in to the DIN recess on a cylinder valve in seconds, tighten with a suitable 8mm Allen Key and easily removed to rapidly convert the cylinder valve back for use with DIN type threaded regulators.

You hav an MDE charging setup , Use an 18mm spanner and unscrew the A clamp fitting an then fit a 5/8 din fitting one of these .http://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=719

If I was you I'd just get surface valves fitted to the cylinders and there by change over to a 5 year test life, sell the charging adaptor(s) & once you save 2 of the 30-month tests you've made your money back.
In fact that's what I did do with my twin tank set.

Bear in mind that a 300 bar DIN fitting has more threads on a deeper valve and regulator than a 232 bar version. This is to handle the extra pressure.
It allows 300 bar kit to fit to a 232 bar cylinder valve which is safe but 232 bar DIN fittings will run out of thread before the O ring seals on the cylinder valve. This avoids 300 bar being applied to 232 rated equipment.

    Well yes & no.
My MDF airgun charging adaptor is only rated 232bar (as I think is the case with all of them) but fits my 300bar cyl.

it is also 100% safe to use PROVIDED I am not doing a pressure test, because other than a full pressure test, the pressure inside the charging adaptor never exceeds the fill pressure of the rifle, which is even lower at under 200bar

That is the whole point of the airgun charging kit or surface valve assembly, so that you can control the amount of pressure & flow - the only items that MUST be 300bar SWP are the stop valve & cylinder.
