    You are better removing the delrin strip by knocking out the pivot pin and not risking spoiling the delrin. While you have it out slightly enlarge the hole in the delrin so that it spins easily after you have thrown the spring away. Attack the pin from the smaller end and really bash it hard and then even harder. Support the arm to keep it still. Easy peasy. Polish the cocking foot to remove all points and edges. Smooth cocking.

    Ok. Tried all of above and it feels better thanks.

    Only problem now is it's reading very inconsistent over my combro.

    Some variations up to 50-80 f p s.

    Had about 100 pellets through.

    Wondering if my combro is misreading or if I've got a small dieselling problem . The first shots smelt a little oily but no smell or smoke at all.

    Oops. I mean no smell or smoke now. However still very inconsistent

    Just rebuilt it again with the smallest amount of grease.

    Shoots much better. I think once it's ran in the chrono readings will settle down.

    Graunching is much better thank you

    If you have removed the delrin spring and done a good job on smoothing the cocking foot it should not be graunching at all.
