HFT500 rifle up for grabs - courtesy of Air Arms!

Air Arms have this afternoon confirmed that not only will they be providing some superb trophies for their very first international HFT competition - they have also very generously donated one of their HFT 500 rifles for the post-shoot prize draw!

How good is that!! (as if you needed another reason to slope off to Holland this summer for a weekend of first-rate HFT shooting )

    Gun transport across borders

Hi all, please forgive what may be a naive question, but what would be the procedure for transporting the air rifles to the event given that it's across international borders and obviously subject to border checks.
Do you have to have a permit or notify some agency in advance of the border crossing or declare it at the time of crossing the border itself?

Just an update on this for anyone else thinking of attending, I spoke to P&O ferries and they advised you only need inform them at time of booking that you will be carrying your air rifles and they will send you all the necessary paperwork to fill out and send back.
P&O Will then send you a letter that you show at customs and check in to get your air rifles through and once on board you give your car keys to staff of the boat.
    Simples!!!!
