    Think I want a pistol .... Again.

Thinking of a pistol again, it must be CO2, fun, reliable, multi shot, relatively accurate and probably BB. It's only for informal plinking, A decent shot count would be nice, so no blow backs, I'm thinking possibly a revolver. I confess I don't know a great deal about these type of pistols, so suggestions please chaps

Edit: It will be secondhand, as are all my guns and wanting something under £100.

If you can stretch to a little over your budget, I've got a lovely Dan Wesson 2.5" barrel Co2 BB revolver listed in the sales section with six extra cartridges and secure post included, if it interests you any?

I have a Smith and Wesson 586 revolver. 10 shot mags, super accurate and consistent. Also a real heavy weight quality replica. Worth a ganda if you can find one out there

If you're looking for fun don't overlook blowbacks. Many will get around 60+ shots per capsule and the trigger on a true semi auto like a kwc 1911 (swiss arms/witness etc) is far better than double action versions.
An accurate, cheap revolver is the Crosman 357 or vigilante (same gun) which can be had for around £50 second hand.

In good condition? Really? Where? For if that is the case, I'd defo buy a couple -- one for each of my lads. Links to adverts selling these second hand for £50 please. Many thanks: G.

They may be fun but I doubt co2 blowbacks are particularly reliable.

Build quality is reflected by price, although some are ridiculously expensive in the UK.

That said I will be buying the umarex glock as soon as it appears.

    But mainly out of nostalgia

I've had over 100 shots out of my Umarex non blowback Luger on a January day. The velocity is a little higher than some blowbacks too and these lovely little pistols can be found under £100.

    Kind regards,

    John

Shame Ive just sold a 357 crosman on here with 3 mags for £45 posted, they are around £80 new. I only sold it as I've just bought a berreta 92fs. The Gamo 85 blowback and crosman 357 would be my choice under a £100 new and pretty well made and reliable if used properly. Unless you are buying one secondhand off decent seller I would buy new as a lot of folk store them with capsule inside wrecking the seal.

Hello peddy, so sorry, my bad, as because the O-P was talking BB Co2 pistols, in a senior moment, my brain thought the initial mention of a 357 referred to the Umarex 357 cartridge pistol (a cheaper version of the Dan Wesson) ... I have no interest in the cheaper rotational magazine fed pistols, sorry for the confusion.

That is a quality pistol. The 6inch version being the optimum in terms of velocity and weight. The 4inch and 8inch look great but maybe not quite so good in terms of performance or weight...but still very desirable!

Thanks for all your input chaps if I get a revolver, I think it will be the cheaper Crosman Vigilante. However just to throw a spanner in the works I'm now looking at something COMPLETELY different the CP1.

If you play your cards right you could pick up a vigilante/357 AND a Cp1 for just a little over £100

THIS was quite a bit of fun before I sold it on, ANother fun handgun is this CROSMAN 600, Can't remember what I paid for it but it was more than a hundred quid..

Also, I had a nickel Beretta 92, another fun pistol but I sold it at a melbourne fayre, I think for around £70, I paid £50 for it so it's a change to actually make money!! Oh, I had to make a new caplet tension screw as the threads were shot on the one it came with!!
