    Best heavy pellets

I’ve a HW100 KTLA .177 so a very accurate gun. I’ve been using JSB Heavies. Got results out to 45m, then get a pronounced horizontal drift at 50, even in still conditions. Can anyone advise me of some other heavier pellets worth trying? Primarily for hunting. Thanks, and merry xmas

I use JSB heavies in my 100kt .
Don't find any stray out to 70 yards on paper or targets .
    Also try Daystate heavies .
Maybe give the barrel a clean ?
Vermin don't like them at sensible range.

I've always had good results with JSB Heavies.

It might be worth checking that your scope/rifle isn't slightly canted.

All of the pellets mentioned above are worth a go, as are Weihrauch magnums.

    All of the above.

Sub 12 .177 for hunting is on the limit at your desired range with any pellet. Being humane is the first priority and if you need longer range you need more gun.
You can spend thousands and still miss a barn door or spend just enough and enjoy yourself. If you haven't got the talent to start with a million pound won't fix it. Whippet, Russell, a few bang sticks and a flat cap. http://www.smart-tech1st.co.uk

    Drift at 50 yds

I use jsb heavies in a rapid, Hw100, AAs510,and Fx wildcat none give horizontal drift at 62 yards. Its likely to be you or more likely there is a light breeze you haven't noticed, it doesn't take much wind to shift a pellet off line at long range. When hunting I take a stake with a spinner screwed into it. Set it at the desired range and have a few shots I nearly always have to aim off the spinner to hit it. Once you know the adjustment you can shoot at quarry with confidence.

Do not get Crosman Premier Domed mixed up with Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums.
The Ultra Magnums are the quality level just under the boxed.
