    Incredible news!

I have to share this with collectables: the entirety of my vintage pic galleries have been transferred to web space hosted on my own domain (paid for by donations), away from the dreaded Photobucket and about as secure as anything can be in this digital world.

    That's around 20,000 images!

Although a sterling effort was put in by our own Jimmie Dee and a much smaller one by myself, LeonardJ and Troubledshooter, the main credit for this extraordinary turnaround goes to the amazing Kane (Citizen K on here), owner of the South Africa air rifles forum.

By some technical wizardry that I don't understand and a lot of painstaking graft, he has managed to do 95% of the job in double quick time.

I want everyone to know my deep appreciation for this work. Thanks mate, fantastic!

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

    What Photobucket did was vandalism.

It's been a real pleasure to assist Danny and crew. I certainly came away with a deeper appreciation for their curation of probably the finest repository of vintage airgun imagery and information on the internet.
