    CP1 pistol

Any good ? how many shots per CO2 bulb in .22 ? They seem pretty cheap in the past I've had the 2240 and EB pistols, how does the CP1 compare ?

Go mad get one in .25!

They are better than a 2240.
    Nicer to operate and handle.

The SMK versions are a bit more expensive but have a better grip.

    Magazines need to be learnt!

I haven't counted shots but enough.

Various bits can be bought aftermarket.

CP 2 good as a pistol too though odd grip.
You get 2 mags and a silencer as well as the rifle bits

Agreed on all points. I have one in .177 and .25 (the .25 is great fun!). Reckon on around 30-35 shots per co2. Both mine are single shot only.

    I don't use the .22 mag much.
    Single shot bit cheaper.

I think this is the only .25 pistol available.
    It is a hoot.
    Real can belter!

My .22 is unmodified and I get 40 good shots out of each bulb. After that the power drops off rapidly.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

I think the .22 is more efficient than the .177 from what I have read. The .177 pushes out at just over 4 ft/lb at best, and .22 owners seem to reckon they get nearer 5. I must chrono the .25 at some point.

I don't need to chrono my .25 as I can see the pellets in flight.

Ey up - holy late thread reply, Batman!

Bought two CP-1's in .177 for our club to use.
They are basic but work reasonably well. We don't bother with the magazines, just single load as it's 10m target work rather than plinking.

Found that 40 to 45 shots are always on the power, bearing in mind shots are spaced out not rapid fire. After 45 the power can drop and certainly after 50, it's game over. To that end we let members have a couple of gas only shots to get used to the trigger then 40 aimed shots. Never had any issues with running out of power with that method.

They have been in use for nearly a year, over 1500 pellets each with no reported problems.

    Cheers

My .177 is getting around 30 shots, running at 4.1fpe. Very easy to strip down, polished and relubed mine. Managed to buy one in .22 that's on its way. I prefer the cp1 as the probe bolt is on the right as I think the smk is on the left. I think these pistols have been a game changer.
