Eventually got hold of a Yukon Photon to play with

I have been asked many times to review the Yukon Photon and eventually I have managed to get my hands on one.

I like it a lot, so simple compared to the ATN X-Sight. So much so, I am thinking of ditching the ATN and getting a Yukon.

Review is here, hope you like

Thanks all, it is a great bit of kit if you can afford it.

Hi Steve just wondering did you zero the photon if so did you come across the problem most photon owners have is the lack of adjustment on the crosshairs ?

there is a fix for it in the night vison section . http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-without-shims
from that post We regularly have people on the forum complaining that they can't get their Photon zeroed using standard scope rings, and having to use
various tricks to get a decent zero.
In those cases, it could simply be that the camera body and aluminium tube were not correctly aligned during manufacture.
To correct the problem (with the scope mounted on the rifle), it would be a matter of slackening the 4 screws holding the 2 semicircular aluminium brackets and adjusting the position of the camera housing relative to the tube until the POI and POA coincide when the reticle is in the centre of the screen

my mate just bought a hawke elevation adjustable mount for his . https://uk.hawkeoptics.com/adjustabl...11mm-high.html .he sold the photon and i have the mount here . you adjust it with the thumbwheel then lock it with the grub screw under the thumbwheel.

his was an elevation issue , his was on a bullpup. so he ran out of elevation adjustment . i think other people had a windage issue and fixed it with adjustable sportsmatch mounts . or these ones https://www.ant-supplies.uk/scope-ri...ble-mount.html

JSR who sponsor this forum may do some also.
