    Worst shooting accessory

So it's that time of year when we are asked what do we want for Christmas, do we want anything Shooting related ?
We have all been out and bought things that are great like trigger sticks , rangefinders etc ,
But what's the worse accessory that you have bought or someone else has bought for you ?

    .
Christmas 2010; a ghastly silk tie covered in printed pictures of pheasants and assorted other game birds designed as per the label for 'the Shooter who has everything' from my despicable ex. Held on to it for 355 days, as intended to enter it as a secret Santa gift at my A.R. club's Christmas gathering the following year just yo get rid, but ended up swapping it for a bacon roll with brown sauce from a kerb-side vendor on my way to said particularly cold early morning shoot, and offered a tin of pellets as my secret Santa, instead, as just could not bring myself to inflict said travesty on a fellow club member.

every single one of the telescopic sights. and i blame the mags. they tell me i need this one. then that one. why do i want so many telescopic sights.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.

A camo baseball cap with face veil.

I thought it'd be good while shooting squirrels but, either I've got a big head and face or, I've got a strange shaped head and face - I just can't get the thing to sit comfortably.

Also, the times I have tried it, I hit my scope with the peak.

I think it's now in my sock drawer.

    All of the above.

Yes, that is a pita with a baseball cap, also happens when wearing a head torch out with my NV.

I think the cheap nasty cleaning kits are probably my worst, they don't go near my rifles.

Guess you've not got an F.A.C., then, as my F.A.C. rated (and legally held) 30ft.lb .22 Rapid, and 18ft.lb .22 HW80K were both the mutt's nuts.

    plastic clip-on barrel bipod.
Just to see if i 'liked' the concept of a bipod....
....broke as i adjusted the gun back and forth while lying prone.

    Verdict: pointless!
