    Beretta pressure plate

I see a lot of Umarex pistols that have a bent pressure plate due to guys over tightening the brass wheel against the bottom of the CO2 capsule before closing the cartridge lock plate. When it has a slight curve bent in it "overcams" so that the top of the capsule drops back from the seal slightly and leaks. I take them out and slightly warm them with a blow torch before re-straightening. As they are made from zinc Zamak alloy you have to be careful doing this. My question is do the guys out who have experienced this problem think there is a market for a reinforced version ?

    I think so Baz.
The S&W also suffers from this.

When I last checked I couldn’t find the Beretta part available at Chambers etc.
    So that’s one order.

Going to ask my mate with a furnace to do a couple of bronze ones in a wax loss mold.
Want to pop around and see your Schofield CO2 revolvers.
