    Acvoke grips (casting)

Some of you may recall I cast a few air pistol grips just as abit of an offshoot hobby. I think I posted an example of the A&S Warrior grips that I made.
I recently bought an Acvoke pistol on here from jjjjjj (sorry Steve can’t remember how many ‘j’s) and it is s very nice example with very crisp grips, ideal for taking a mould from. I wasn’t sure if the Acvoke grips ever break but it came to light that Ccdjg has an Acvoke without grips so I took the plunge. Materials were ordered and I made a start with the mould on there arrival.
The mould went well with no defects so I have turned out a few pairs of grips, first pair is always abit of trial and error and they were alittle light in colour but I could adjust for that so all good from there on.
Once out there is some work to do on the rear of the grips, light sanding, locating holes, fixing nut etc (they don’t bolt straight through)
Ccdjg has kindly offered to add a couple of photos for me in due course (Thankyou)
    Atb,Phil.

I will bear you in mind Jimmie. Do you currently have one with broken or missing grips?

    Here they are Phil:

First the siiicone rubber mould (lovely colour!) : https://imgur.com/a/dLxES

Second the resultant grips: Original above, new grips below: https://imgur.com/a/2b252

The final product after drilling etc: https://imgur.com/a/3ujC3

I think we all have to agree that Phil has achieved a fantastic result,

Yes. I have a project gun with no grips. It would be nice to get it in full working order again.
