may also be employed in conjunction with a drawn reciprocation dingle arm, to reduce sinusoidal repleneration
When I had one the most common advice was to adjust the friction bush things so that the action would slide back if the rifle was held at a 30 or 45 degree angle from horizontal. I think you could have it looser than that but it seemed like a reasonable idea.
