    the ends would be blanked off from the videos i have seen . it also give the person doing the work a place to attach the wire or jig for lifting it out of the tank with out damaging the surface .

    I had a Theoben sirocco classic done by Colin Molloy. It came out absolute mirror black. I didn't like it!!! The quality of the job was superb but there was absolutely no colour to it.. it was totally black. Am I being picky. Yes.

    Black is the new blue. Plum coloured 'browning' should make a comeback, and then there is the mighty dazzling shine of a Kingplinker gun.

    Now that is a damned good idea. Problem is the image content, although some imaginative poses with "naughty" knock down targets might get round that one.

    For this sort of thing our own RichardH is my go to guy, his refinishing work is superb whether blueing, blacking or Cerakote. He’s a one stop shop and if he’s not got beer in there’s a pub over the road.
    The toxicity of lead varies, depending upon the weight of its doseage and its velocity!
