How rare is a Webley Premier 5 pin with no alpha marking?

Looks like a “D” but oddly has no marking? Not inferring that it would add any real value, just curious.

The 5 pin Premiers without the usual Series letter stamped to the left hand side of the frame were transitional models produced between 1973-1975 prior to the introduction of the Mk2 Premier in 1975. They had an epoxy enamel finish which was thicker than the Suncorite coating preceding it and usually carried the manufacturing date beneath the black grips.

In answer to your question, despite the relatively short production period, I don't believe this series are particularly rare / valuable or indeed sought after and would always recommend an early A or B Series to anybody looking to acquire an example of this model.

    Hope this helps.
