RS60 works really well with lighter bullets, I got best accuracy with 55gr Varmaggeddons at 4130fps.
I believe Amir runs H4895 under his 55gr Nosler BT's.
The toxicity of lead varies, depending upon the weight of its doseage and its velocity!

Yes, yes it is, the barrel is a slow twist and 27.5" long.
By the time I've killed a barrel on that rifle it's paid for itself many times over.

Certainly. 70 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip, 41 grains of N140 gives 3350 FPS in one of my 243s, 3400 in the other. Both provide a muzzle energy comfortably in excess of 1700 ft lbs (1745 and 1797 respectively).Anyone willing to share their favourite 1700+ ft/lb 243 load?

75 grain Sierra HP, CCI 200 primer, Norma brass, 39 grains of N140 gives 3250 FPS through my 24 inch barreled .243 for 1759 ft.lbs.Anyone willing to share their favourite 1700+ ft/lb 243 load?
