    Sometimes it pays to shop around.

    Wanted to make up a long lead for the NS50. Maplins wanted £4.49 each for the necessary 2.1/5.5mm plugs, a local CCTV firm wanted £1 each....

    Absolutely true.
    BUT.
    They are usually open, local and have the stock you want.
    If you buy online from the bay - they won't be on your radar.
    If like me, your Idea of cutting edge technology is having a Bic biro with 4 different coloured inks in it, they are there.

    PS. If you need a bulb for a Logun lamp - they have it. But no one else in South Yorkshire seem to.

    One of the best electronic dealers in Sheffield - NR Bardwells - closed down last year. Since then it's been Craplins, or get someone I know to order it for me.
