Will HW barrels fit on an xs20?

So if an SMK XS20 is a cheap HW95 do HW barrels fit without any engineering/machining?

Yes, I have a .177 hw barrel on my xs20. The only thing I had to do was shim the breech seal up 0.5mm as the lock up didn't put sufficient pressure on the seal.
You can also , with a minor mod fit a rekord trigger blade to the rekord copy trigger. I would say don't rush out and buy a new xs20 but go for the older cloned 95 as they changed the trigger on later rifles

I had bad luck fiting a hw98 barrel on my old xs20 it still had minor vertical play in the breech lockup even after shiming till tight.

I worked it out to be the breech bolt was a tad smaller in diamater on the xs20 so it gave it just enough wiggle room to be a issue for me.
