Nice one. I have a MIM on mine too. Did you shorten the gas tube or just the barrel?

Wow! That's proper Thunderbirds stuff! I reduced the tube by about 11mm and the plug to suit so its the shortest that'll work with 12g. Reducing the frame/handle is next.

Someone of your talents should have no trouble cutting and rethreading the tube (obviously the better route if you have the facilities for it) to take 8g carts. It's not a lot but it does make a big difference to it's perceived size.

I bought a sack of 12g carts from our sponsors and have to use them eventually. Mrs Bum wants use of the cupboard back again!

I've threatened to buy one of these sights for ages now but haven't got round to it. When funds allow I'll get one for sure.

Please, please don't sell this prior to The Bash and bring it along.
