Not being a computer whiz, I would like to ask those in the know if there should be a recommended file size limit for the uploaded pics so as not to affect the bbs site capacity, or doesn't it matter ?

The function is purely for third party image hosting, it does not affect BBS bandwidth or disk capacity. However, common decency for those who are bandwidth constrained dictates that images should be around 1600px

Except the Meteor stock is acually a Webley mk3 stock was in a very poor state, cracked and stained terribly with muck and was repalced, It was an early one but I replaced it with a later stock

Unless BBS admins script a custom bbcode (easy to do) to embed an imgur album posting the link is the only way. You can however get the direct links to those images and embed them. Like so:
