    Hi,

Given your recently acquired taste for early British air pistols, you might want to keep an eye out for an Accles & Shelvoke Warrior which may have found its way across the Atlantic.

    Happy Christmas

Seen one over here, welded back together? Webleys, Haenel’s and rarely a Tell over here. Going to concentrate on the prewar US Webley imports I think. Just nailed a Haenel 28 in .177 which fills out the Haenel collection. Old BSA rifles seem to make it over here as well, but so many are just beat. Got to be a Light out there with my name on it somewhere!

    Hi,

Iv'e been lucky enough to handle and shoot most of the other spring air pistols that would have been rivals to the Webley throughout its production period and have not yet found anything better.

The nearest Iv'e come to it is the Abas Major which although very nearly matching the Webley for handling and accuracy, would have been more expensive which may also have been a discriminator.

    Happy New Year.
