    I've read that the park is actually a 'deader' gun to shoot. Not had the pleasure of shooting both side by side so couldn't say myself

    The advantages of Park over Whiscombe are a)price and b) only one stroke of the cocking lever needed-admittedly quite hard work as the lever is quite short-rather than 2 for the JW. Quality of build superb in both cases. I don't know why the JW fetches such a premium over the Park but there we are.

    Trigger is far superior on the Whizzer.

    I really cannot think why the Park did not just copy the Weihrauch Rekord, or used a beefed-up version of the same.
