At the farm in the summer sun, if I'm having a bad day, I can always rely on flies on the car, soaking up the heat. Yep, a pcp with no pellet in launches them real good from close range ie very close, approx 4 inches

Some body is bound to be shooting head shots on spiders at 70yds
Ive shot many flies with no pellet in my PR-45.
The blast of air kills them.
Ive no doubt a PCP rifle will do the same.

I should have specified that this is for indoor use, and in paintwork/furniture/glass/ornament rich theatres of operations.
I could respect that viewpoint against regular house flies.

50 quid though... for that money, I'd want to know it was built better than your average £15 toy gun, and with enough power (at 3 feet away) to take out a big house spider?
