In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
? Have the DT Fletcher book on Crosman literature, their top of the line Town and Country was $24.95 in 1949 and it lasted one year. The T & C Junior came out about the same time at 14.95, the new at the time CO2 rifles at $19.95. They all had to compete with cheap 22 rimfire rifles. To me Sheridan quickly gave up and basically copied the Benjamin. Such marketing failures lead to very cool collectables. Awesome threesome.

Now that is what I would consider the perfect trio for any springer air rifle collector to aspire to in his collection - and I am not a rifle collector! I do have the Mk 2 and 3 rifles, but have let a few Mk 1's slip through my fingerts in trades for pistols. Maybe it is time for me to get another - or is it too late?
