These were made by a fireman from the outskirts of Sheffield during WW2 whilst he was stationed at Londinium, They were solid oak window boards that were scavenged after the building took a direct hit from a German bomb!!
He used them apparently after the war to poach game for the table to feed his family, I'm unsure if fibreglass and Dural was available during the war so the limbs may have been replaced after the war
