Use small cigarette filters pushed through with 4mm Acetel rod. As a pull though use cheap 40lb b/s fishing line with a figure of eight loop tied tight in it, you then use women's nail varnish cleaning clothes through the loop. I use Napier gun cleaner sprayed down the barrel before I push filters down it, I then spray it in the nail clothes, once they pull through clean your done.

An airgun barrel should not need a brush, they're more for removing carbon from a powder burner.
Either a shoot through felt or a flannelette patch on a pull through cord should be all an airgun ever needs, & never let a "bore-snake" with wire in it within a million miles of an airgun barrel.

Airgun barrels are far too soft for harsh (powder burner) cleaning methods.

i go with Blackmax. fag filters fired through. but, be careful, they can be as dangerous as a pellet.
my cleaning rod came from Galleons in bedford. the rod could go down to .177 but the screw on pads could be used for any bore.
would not use any chemicals. have been always told that the barrel can be cleaned but the rifling needs a coating of lead left in.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.

I'd only use a pull through. Simple and no damage to the barrel.

You'll probably need to 're-lead' it after cleaning to get accuracy back.
