I recently saw a couple of videos showing the appalling state of some of the barrels due to cylinders being out of alignment and the steel BBS destroying the breech and bending the first couple of centimetres of the barrel.

One bloke said that some of the hammers clicked four times instead of three and that these should be left well alone.

Is this barrel problem common or has it been addressed by Umarex?

I was going to get one of these from Germany but, even though I would only put Blaster plastic 4.5 BBS through it, I have been put off by the skinny fragile looking barrel.

I now understand why the pellet version is so expensive; rifling would probably necessitate the use of a thicker, sturdier barrel.
